2004 Tinhorn Creek Pinot Noir

I’m extremely surprised that this wine has held up for so long and is still so clean and enjoyable. The original tasting notes called for 5-10 years of cellaring potential, and here we are 18 years later, and it’s still holding its own. This wine is the quintessence of elegance and softness. Light body, with a medium length. The nose is fantastic, transporting you to a lush garden with flowers, sweet notes and cherry pie. The palate offers stewed notes of strawberries and black pepper, espresso coffee, and mushrooms. Drink now to experience this awesome feat of ageability from the early days of the BC wine industry.
